In a small community along the coast of Brazil, life goes on quietly and happily. Tunes from a local musician form a peaceful backdrop for the adulterous romance between Marieta and Orlando, her neighbor. That is until Adolito, the husband, acquires a 29-inch television. 29 Polegadas was produced in partnership with Grupo Cultural Baguncaco, a renowned social project dedicated to developing and educating youngsters from the poor neighborhoods of Salvador de Bahia.
