A CIGAR AT THE BEACH
Stephen Keep Mills (US, 2006, 15 min)
Short, Drama
Plays in BEING AND BECOMING; Saturday, Oct 7, 6:15pm, Hal Holmes

Surreal and slightly satirical, A Cigar at the Beach is a modern coming of (middle) age story. A married man retreats to an empty beach to smoke a cigar and fantasize. An approaching tempest mirrors the storm inside him as his fantasies propel him to the very edge of himself and to a surprise yearning greater than flesh or adventure. Gentle, humorous, and visually opulent.
