Much more than miniskirts and fishnet stockings, Seattle’s
ubiquitous Rat City Rollergirls are a refreshing reminder of the
independent spirit that made the city. While the documentary follows
one of the first Roller Derby revival teams in the early days of
their “do-it-yourself” league, the film really plays
like a feature, with personalities you can’t help but fall
in love with.
